For the whole of May, I was just so caught up with everything else that I neglected my little space.
Occasionally, met up with friends for dinner else rest of the time is just work and more work.
Changed of job role this month it quite a big feat for me, wasn't sure I have done it as per expectation but certainly it made me learn a lot upon circumstances.On another note, this month have made me realize how relationship are so fragile, is either you make it or break it. We took another step based on faith and we will make thru it together :)

More ice cream post! 

I really love Baskin Robbins ice cream especially the "No Sugar Added" chocolate chip ice cream!
Is awesome to the max and most importantly it lessen my guilt on binging on junk food! Sbd likes it too. Oops. Realized that I do not have the pictures with me! (:

Just 2 days ago, met up with Clark and Peifen along Upper Thomson Road  for dinner followed by ice cream! Was deciding between Habitat Coffee and Neli's ice cream and we decided on Neli ! But we will be back to try the red velvet cake from Habitat Coffee real soon :)

As you can see "Welcome Onboard" on the display, so much so you can guess that the theme of this cafe is all about flights, traveling and the different countries in the world! I will say that it is a simple and cozy little cafe with nothing fanciful and some of the ice cream are really comparable to those really famous ones.

We ordered Dark Chocolate Ice Cream and Butterscotch Hazelnut.

Butterscotch Hazelnut is made of a little bit of whisky! 

Hence those who don't drink will not like it.

 They ordered the cookies and cream and cranberry chocolate.

But they were given dark chocolate and hence they gave us an additional scope of cranberry chocolate!

In total we had 5 scopes of ice cream! *burpppp*

We had fun there posting and chatting at this simple nice cozy place.
In my opinon, this is better than salted caramel  (:

It's been a while...

Recently have been visiting all the nice places around Singapore!
Did I mention before? Both the bf and I have sweet tooth, ice cream are something that is always on our list! That explain why I am this size. (: So late week, we visited Salted Caramel with friends after dinner at TCC.

This is located somewhere near the famous crispy prata shop along Thomson Road.

You can easily spot this by spotting Udders which is just beside it. 

The decor of this ice cream store is really simple and nothing fanciful, just that the colors they chosen are really attractive with a tinge of cuteness since I like anything that are strippy, polka dots etc.

 

3 unusual flavors that I have spotted!

1) Salted Caramel - Hmmm, I don't really like the idea of adding salt to ice cream. Tasted to salty for me.

2) Horlicks Tin Tam - Weird combination but worth a try.

3) Earl Grey - I think this is quite nice! Rem to give it a try when you are there :)

Guess what flavour we got in the end?

SBD's favourite dark chocolate  - I think is nice! Not too sweet and dark chocolate are known to be good for health! haha

The second flavour is Lychee which I think tasted yummy too.

Weeks ago, bought Miss Chia to Wimbly Lu (Jalan Riang) after my OT after work.

This time round instead of just desserts, we tried the food there.

We had Seafood Baked Rice and Pie.

Conclusion: Both are nice but we prefer the Seafood Baked Rice as the Pie is full of potato.

 Followed by dessert! Finally I get to try the Lemon Meringue! 

It tasted just right and we love it :)

 and she get to do some shopping done at Closetoffaith. :)

After this dinner, I suffered from indigestion and was on MC the very next day.

Kept vomiting none stop thru the night!

Been really hectic at work with some reshuffling and stuff. 

Hope the month of May will get pass really quick!

I am back!

I am finally back from my trip! Seemed like I have been away for quite a while!
Looking thru the photos that I have took for this trip, this question came into my mind.

"Does height differences really matter in a r/s? "

I know is silly, but still all the photo isn't to my liking cause I am just too short!!! :(
Interestingly, I goggled and found out that not only us but there are a lot of people facing the same situation as me.

Some funny ones that I read and thought I will just share on their opinions:

Ok enough of that. We are all special in our own way and I just need to grumble a little on the fact that I am short.

Long Haul Flight

Is taking a ton on us! Is a whopping of about 15-18 hours of flight! We finally reached San Francisco safely. Our flight was at 2pm in the afternoon and we took a transit from SG-TW and TW-SFO. The timing differences about 15 hours? It is now 7th April 6.10am here! Still suffering from jetlag! Woke up a few times in btw. :)

As usual dad fetch mum and me to the airport. After checking in, we left for lunch at the airport before boarding.

So with my iPad! I can load the photos that I have took so far!

Stop over at TW and in between we have about 3 hours of free time hence we walked around their new airport! There are some hello kitty decorated places for the kids. Super nice and cute. The food on the plane was so so.

Upon reaching the hotel, we head over to get some food to share. We had our very first meal - Burger King. The fish burger and fries just tasted so good. There is no chili here thou but the ketchup just tasted as nice! Haha

Arbite

For the past 2 weekends, I feel so blessed to take my mind off work and just enjoy the time with love ones. Usual weekends used to be so busy with shoots and him editing photos and preparing. We decided to take at least a month off before we start working hard again for the online store. We had bigger plans for it ! So just be patient about it. Anyway God will do the work, just leave it onto his hand :)

This week was plainly just board games with Peifen, Clark and Nigel on a Friday night. Followed by a brunch date on Saturday at Arbite. They have just turned 2 and are having promo - 50% off the second main dish. So the price is just right for us to try it out! I had the Arbite all day breakfast with a pot of earl grey tea! Sbd have the Benedict egg with garlic bread and a glass of orange juice. This breakfast was a much better choice than what we have previous sat (wimbly lu) ! I have not blogged abt it , will try my best to blog it before this weekends :) Anyhow,
I really love brunch and will definitely go research and try out all the beautiful decorated theme places with Sbd the next time. Oh. The next place I hope it will be riders cafe! Heard forty hands is not bad too.

We were given four free tickets because the expiry date was on the day itself! Haha so we decided to watch a movie at nex. Clifton and Kieren came along with us. We wanted to watch wrath of Titus but all the slots only left with the front row and hence we watched "HUGO" instead. I think the show was so so thou.

After the movie, we went for dinner followed my prawning at punggol marina. It was my first time there and it was so crowded with people. Many ppl was catching fish, the normal prawn and tiger prawns. Spent 3 hrs there till Kieren was really bored and complained that he wants to go home :)

Sunday was a day at home with sisters niece nephews! Sister finally came back from Japan and she have gotten us lots of Japan goodies and also a new addition to my camera-ssss!!!! It is the limited edition Hello Kitty wide instax. Super cute isn't it. Simply couldn't resist it. It is a little bulky but the photos took by it is awesome! Will bring it out one days for some picnic or kite flying! :D yummy, finally some green tea kit kat too! Fatty loves it ! :)

my IPHONE is dead!

Ok. Apart from that, I did not backup my phone and all my instagram photos are gone! :(

My contacts are gone too. So please backup your phone every now and then else you will be like me. The phone just black out on me and no matter what I do the phone just don't seemed to be responding! I even went down to Singtel on that very day but sadly it was out of warranty and I have to pay 350 for replacement. The error shown when restoring is "unknown error 21".

Tried ways and means to get an iphone but failed.

1) Plan cannot be recontract at this moment and have to top up additional $300 on top of the price of the phone.

2) Tried using dad's line to buy the phone but his was the lowest plan with no 3G thus the cost of the phone is so much higher! Not worth it at all.

3) Went to ah beng shop and they quoted me $200 for repairing the phone. I decided that is too expensive.

4) Went to another ah beng shop the next day, they quoted $180 stating the same reason that the motherboard is spoilt and needs to be changed.

Conclusion: I decided to send it for repair $180 but it takes abt 1 week plus before i can get the phone. Both sis decided to lend me their iphone 3GS but 4G sim card is different. Finally today! Sbd's sister getting a new phone so she will pass me her iphone 4 ! Yay! Finally ! No more using nokia anymore :D I realized iphone have become an impt part of my life and I am so sad that all my photos, videos are all gone :(

Happy Reunion...

So this day finally came where the 5 of us just hang out like how we used to be. Gossiping and updating on each other life during our meet-up and snapping photos away :) Love how life is good with them around.

Usual dinner dates together after work and this time is at Ipuddo at mandarin gallery. Initially we wanted to try out Anottiete but the waiting time is an hour! So we decided to go for Ipuddo and head back to it for the pretty decorated place and we heard raves abt the food, dessert and tea. I do personally love the ambience of the place. The dessert is a little too sweet for my liking but the earl grey tea is really nice :)
